As another wet weekend looms for us on this side of the pond, we’re all left wondering what’s happened to the Great British Summer! Apparently we’ve had the wettest, coldest and darkest couple of summer months for the last twenty years in England. This song should be the soundtrack of summer filled with lazy days and long, light evenings. Hopefully there’s some “summer vibe” still to come this year:
Be sure to check out their YouTube channel for more videos!
Saw this over on www.ukulele.fm – might have to give it a go, haha!
Sorry it’s been a little quiet on here for the past few weeks. I don’t really have any excuse other than just not really being around the computer all that much. We’ve had some sunshine (really?!?!) so I’ve been out on the bike a lot more getting some miles in. I’ll have to get a rack so I can take the uke with me, hehehe!

Every now and then I stumble across a ukulele cover on YouTube worth posting about, this is one of those moments. Phoebe and Jack are a young sibling duo from Northamptonshire, England and this is their version of Jessie J’s former UK number one single, Price Tag. Enjoy…
Three girls, singing, playing fruit themed ukuleles. Sound interesting? Then you should most definately check out the Fruity Ukuladies on YouTube, they’re relatively new but already have some great uke cover songs up. My favorite so far is their rendition of Queen’s Fat Bottomed Girls (one of my favorite tunes to play on my uke). Check it out…
Ahhhh, Sundays. Gotta be one of the most relaxing days of the week, especially when the sun is shining! Just a pity the following day is always Monday. A very happy Fathers Day to all the dads out there. I wonder how many got given a new ukulele this morning? Haha!
Right now I am really digging this layed back cover of Drift Away.
Give me the beat, boys, and free my soul.
I want to get lost in your rock and roll,
And drift away….
